Summary

InspectMyPC collects no personal data. All device detection happens locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server. We use no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising systems.

1. Information we collect

We collect nothing. InspectMyPC does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, device data, or usage data. All device detection runs entirely in your browser using standard Web APIs. Your CPU, GPU, RAM, battery, network, and other device information is read locally and never sent to any server.

2. Cookies and local storage

InspectMyPC uses browser localStorage only to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode) and language selection. No cookies are set. No session data, user identifiers, or tracking tokens are stored. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for inspectmypc.com.

3. Third-party services

InspectMyPC does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, social media trackers, or telemetry services. There are no embedded scripts from Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or any similar service.

4. No backend server

InspectMyPC has no backend server that receives data from your browser. The application is served as static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. All processing — including device detection, score calculation, and AI insight generation — happens entirely on your device.

5. Sharing

When you use the Share My Score feature, you share a URL that may include your score values as URL parameters. Sharing is always opt-in and initiated explicitly by you. We do not automatically share any information. When you share to X, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or Reddit, those platforms' own privacy policies apply.

6. Children's privacy

InspectMyPC is a general-purpose tool suitable for all ages. Since we collect no personal data, there are no special considerations for children's privacy under COPPA, GDPR-K, or equivalent regulations.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make any material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Since we collect no data, any changes are unlikely to affect your privacy in practice.

8. Contact

If you have questions about this privacy policy, please visit our About page. InspectMyPC is a privacy-first project — if you believe any aspect of the tool collects data it shouldn't, we want to know immediately.
